The heart is coated in Glossy Accents and black glitter and popped up with foam tape. I finished with sequins.

Hand in Fist

This is the last card is the series of masculine cards.

I was half way through making this card when I realized I was using Halloween DP, I am pretty sure no one will spot the teeny tiny spider webs. The theme for this card is Use of Force. I printed off the image and layered it. I added a gray rectangle and a black square of cardstock, both are embossed. I finished with half pearls.

Supplies: White, black and gray cardstock, Image - Google, twine pearls.

On that note

This is the third card is the series of masculine cards.

For the background I found an article in a Police officer magazine on the use of the non-lethal weapon a beanbag shotgun. I lightly inked the edges in gray, used a punch for the edge then added some twine. The image is printed, layers and popped up with foam tape, I finished with some dots.

Supplies: White, black and gray cardstock, Image - Google, twine pearls.

Camo all the way

I have a series of masculine cards to share over the next few days. My crafty mojo has been in hiding for the past little while, this interesting request from a friend brought it back with a vengeance.

The cards are for a team of lead instructors, professionals teaching the correct way to handle lethal and non-lethal weapons and Use of Force.

This first card is for a guy that loves camo. The image was provided by the requestor of the card so I don't know its origin.

I first found a random picture of some camo fabric and turned it into background image. I printed and layered as well as popped  the image up with foam tape. I finished with some black half pearls.

Supplies: White and black card stock, Images - Google, twine, pearls.

Paris Anyone

Paris anyone… One can dream right.

I had a request for a card for Mother’s Day for either shoes or Paris… this designer paper came to mind immediately.

Supplies: White card stock, Designer Paper – MME, misc die cuts, gems.
