Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #211

Happy Monday, we have a new Challenge for you for The Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge. Colleen is our hostess and she wants us to use blue, gold, white/silver on a Christmas Card.

I went with a simple layered design for my card this week. I used my stitched due cuts then added some "flicks" of gold and silver to add sparkle to the panels. I stamped the sentiment then did the same with that layers. I added some foam tape to pop up it up.

Supplies: White and blue card stock, Verve - Peace on Earth, SSS stitched rectangles, Sheer Shimmer

Happy Birthday to You

I am in the process of revamping my craft space in a big way. As of last weekend all my craft supplies are sitting in piles on every single piece of furniture in our family room.

Yesterday my husband asks for a couple of cards for next week... not sure how he missed that whole "disassembled" state, or the mess.

So last night I found a space in the middle of chaos to create a couple for cards, funny enough it has been the most productive I have been with crafts in weeks. I also found some forgotten paper that worked for what I needed.

I used simple layers for this card, I added a little accent twine and popped up the sentiment. It is CAS but works.

Supplies: White and gray cardstock, Designer Paper, Stamps and die cuts - Inspired by Stamping, twine.

Deepest Sympathy

I am sure my craft supplies should they be able to talk would scream foul at me. I have spend very little time in my treasured space over the past few months.

This is a card I created a couple of weeks ago and I have not had the time to post.

I used scraps I had in a pile but I am unsure of the designer. I stamped the image and sentiment then layered them. I finished the card by adding some twine and a button.

Hearthfelt Condolences

A quick post this morning. I had these scraps still on my desk from a card a few weeks ago. I decided on layers for the card. I added some texture to the cream panel then added some gray gems.

I did add a little foam tape between some of the panels to give it a little depth.

Supplies: Cream and gray cardstock, Designer Paper - Pebbles, Hot off the Press - Heartfelt Greetings, gems.

Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #208

Good Morning and Happy Monday, we have a new Challenge for you for The Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge. Sue is our hostess and she wants us to Create a cute/fun Christmas card for a child.

This picture does not do this little guy justice, he has shimmery silver parts all over him. I stamped the image 3 times, once on the card stock to get the antenna. I then stamped it twice on DP, if you look close at the paper you will see stars all over it. I fussy cut the images then put foam tape between the layers.

I added foam tape between the top layer and the background DP then finished the card with the sentiment and some silver gems that are fit for a cute little robot.

Supplies: White card stock, Designer Paper - Simple Stories, Verve - Holiday Phrases and Birthday Bots, gems.
