Got Moxxie, what a great name for designer paper. I used my stitched dies cut to get a corner of a 12 x 12 page and used a strip from the reverse side for along the bottom. I die cut and popped up a buck head that is embossed with some texture. The sentiment is heat embossed and popped up.

I finished with some sequins.

Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #245

Good Morning, we have a new Merry Monday Christmas card challenge for you today. Lori is our hostess this week and her challenge is to Create a Christmas card using Kraft cardstock.

I love how my card turned out, yes I know toot tooting my own horn but...

I pulled out my American Crafts 6x6 paper, I love the blend of the Kraft and red plaid together. I added in one of the tags from the back of the pad and popped up the sentiment with foam tape. I added a little bit of twine in behind, I finished with some sequins

Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #244

Good Morning we have a new Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge for you. Linda is our hostess and her challenge is Use a wreath on your Christmas Card.

 

I had all these scraps from a 6 x 6 paper pad still on my desk so I though I would make use of them. I created two panels with stitched die cuts then added the the sentiment and heart panels. I added some foam tape to the wreath. I finished with some gems.

Mojo Monday #492

Goodness it has been forever since I have played along with Mojo Monday, and crafted with my sister. I was so happy to do both last evening.

I love this sketch, easy peasy, Nina pleasy.. ok that was just silly but it is a great sketch and it worked perfectly for what I wanted to put together. Inside it says Happy Spring. I have a friend that had a pink scooter and it is out in full force now that we have nicer weather... a celebration I would say.

I used simple layers and added some texture to the base. I heat embossed the scooter and then used the matching die cut. I fussy cut pieces so that I could pop it up with foam tape. I added the cute little flower with a gem.

The sentiment is heat embossed and popped up with foam tape. I added some twine and finished with sequins. There are a few other items to mention too, like Glossy accent on the headlight ;).

Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #243

Happy Monday all, we have a new Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge for you today. Kathy is our hostess this week and her challenge is to Create a Christmas scene.

 

I die cut this pretty oval panel and covered it liberally with a glitter pen giving it tons of shimmer. I glued that to a panel of black glitter paper and added another layer of red card stock. I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto a piece of red card stock and popped it up with foam tape.

Inspired by all the Little Things #51

I had a little time to craft today, I am playing along with Inspired by All the little things.

I used stitched rectangles for both panel then added a brown cardstock matte. I stamped and fussy cut the flowers then added some colour with distress inks. I added a large sequin and a gem to the center of each flower. I heat embossed the sentiment and popped it up with foam tape.

I was inspired by the colours and the little swirl nest of the chicks.

Happy Spring

I have been playing with my Distress Inks again and with some emboss resist as well. I heat embossed the background image in white then applied a rainbow of cheery colours. I used my stitched die cuts to cut out the panel.

I die cut the butterflies from black card stock and vellum then layered them together. I added shimmer to the wings. The bodies are die cut from gray card stock then covered them in Glossy Accents, they are also popped up with foam tape.

I stamped this cute sentiment then popped it up with foam tape.

Deepest Sympathy

It is a wet and rainy day here but the cherry blossoms and tree buds are finally out in full force, spring is here and that makes me happy. I have a couple of trays full of little sprouts for my garden and I can see them being planted in the next couple of weeks.

  

I needed to create this card the other night, I used a new Reverse Confetti paper pad and simple layers for my card. I used this embossing folder that I think is so elegant.  The textured panel is popped up with foam tape and I added a mix of smoke and black gems. I finished with the sentiment and twine.

Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #242

We have a new Merry Monday challenge for you this morning. Debbie is our hostess this week and her challenge is Add twigs or branches to your Christmas card.

I am in love with this 6x6 paper pad from Simple Stories, it is like the cards almost make themselves ;).

I used my stitched rectangles to cut out the panels, I used a branch punch for my corner pieces. The snowman panel is popped up with foam tape and I finished with some raised dots.
