Pretty Great

Stitched triangle dies, have you seen these, for anyone who follows my blog you know I love my stitched dies, I use them on almost every card.. I discovered these babies at the last retreat I went to and I love them.. so much in fact I have them on order.

I cut out a panel of patterned paper and layered that onto a panel of black cardstock. I die cut 4 stitched triangles in coordinating patterns. I stamped the sentiment and layered that with cardstock and foam tape then finished with some black gems.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Designer Paper - Photoplay, Stampin' Up! - Stitched triangle dies, Simon Says Stamp-Greeting Mix 2, gems.

I am down to the last 5 days of the #trailblazechalleng for Make-a-wish, I have covered 385 km's to date and hope to kick off a few more between now and then.

Wonderful birthday

I used one of my favourite layouts with this card. I love that you can mix and match panels and use one or more pretty patterns.

The base panel is designer paper layered with a light blue cardstock. I used a rectangle and square die-cut for the smaller panels then added a layer of cardstock to those as well.

I stamped the sentiment and layered it with both cardstock and foam tape. I finished with some light blue iridescent half pearls.

Supplies: White and blue cardstock, Designer Paper-Kaisercraft, Pink Fresh- Happy Birthday Sentiments, Hero Arts Nesting rectangles and squares, pearls.

Llama just Say

Good evening and Merry Monday - whew it has been a while since I have posted something for Merry Monday.

Here I am though with a sweet friend and some holiday greetings, all put together with a fun napkin card. I expect many of my posts to include a lot of projects with napkins for the next little while, I received quite the haul of a mix of pattered napkins yesterday and they are calling to be used for crafty purposes.

This is a simple layout, I had to do justice to this sweet face.

I created a panel using Mod Podge, applied the napkin, another layer of Mod Podge and let it dry. I created the sentiments using Word and printed them out. I die-cut them to fit the card. I added some cardstock for a matt and finished with some gems.

This was not one of the napkin patterns I ordered, but truth be told of all the many many many napkins that were exchanged, this one was the one that I wanted to play with first, this llama is adorable, the crazy crafter in me call her Lulabell as I was creating.

Supplies: Red, black and white cardstock, napkins, sentiment, gems.
Cheers,

Nina

I have a quick card to post this morning, I created this using patterned paper and panel from Kaisercraft.

I cut the bottom panel with stitched rectangles and then did the same with the next panel. The sentiment panel was from the same paper them Free-Spirited, I popped that up with foam tape then I added a Congratulations that is also popped up. I  finished the card with some gems

Supplies: White cardstock, Designer paper - Kaisercraft, Simon Says Stamps- Stitched Rectangles, MFT-Itty Bitty Basics, gems.

Farewell

We have had an epic summer so far weather-wise; it makes it hard to stay indoors and craft when there are so many things to do out of doors. I did, however, make a few cards a couple of weeks ago at a crafty retreat.

I made this card for a friend who is moving away, I am excited for her, but she will be missed.

I had the perfect paper from Wild Whisper for this card; I cut two panels then added a layer of black cardstock to each. I added touches of colour with my Zig markers then put some itty bitty gems on the flowers. The sentiments are stamped, layered with cardstock, then with foam tape to pop them up a little.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Designer Paper - Wild Whisper, Simon Says Stamps-Home Sweet Home, Your Next Stamp-Washi Tape Sentiment, gems.

I am down to under two weeks left of the #Trailblaze Challenge. I have passed the 350KM mark, and I hope to get to 400K before July 28.
