Hello

Hello crafty friend, I have a monochrome card to share for Washi Tape Wednesday.

Tell me you have a problem with your love for Washi tape without telling me you have a problem...

Washi tape is so easy to work with and can create a pretty card. I started with a piece of white cardstock and layered it with washi tape. I adhered the panel to the card base with foam tape.

I die-cut the sentiment and added foam tape to it. I finished the card with some silver half pearls. This photo does not do this card justice; in real life, the Hello pops off the card and does not hide itself in the pattern.

I hope you get to play with Washi tape today.

Happy Holidays

Hello crafty friends, I have a simple design for the Merry Monday card today.

As I was going through my craft supplies recently, I found my little stash of Penny Black’s Masterpiece’s made simple.

I also recently watched a video about a woman who talked about how we crafters save things we really love and don’t use.

I’m determined to start using craft supplies, no matter how much I love them.

That brings me to today’s card. I used one of the masterpieces and layered that with black, white, and a final layer of black cardstock to create a layered frame.

I added a simple sentiment strip that popped up with foam tape and finished the card with gems.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Penny Black-Masterpieces, The Ton-sentiment strip, gems

Their belly and the base of their tail – touch there and you’re more likely to annoy them than bond with them.

Hello crafty friends, it has been a long time since I joined a card challenge. My craft room is all packed up as we are doing some renovations, I did manage to make a small corner to create a card though.

I am joining the AAA Card Challenge it is perfect with a CAS card. I am a sucker for a good card sketch.

One of the things that was close at hand with my craft stuff was a bowl of random die cuts.  I started by picking the leaves, and the sentiment.

I adhered the sentiment then finished the card with some black gems.
