Christmas is getting closer, every week the decorations that are going up everywhere seem to get more elaborate. I have a hard time thinking about putting anything out before Dec 1, but that does not stop me from having a new Christmas card on display every Monday :).
There is a new sketch for this weeks Merry Monday Challenge.
I used my lonely little Slice for the holly, then heat embossed the berries with Red embossing tinsel. The rest of the card is basic layers, and the sentiment and circles are popped up with foam tape.
Supplies: Natural White and green cardstock, Designer Paper –Bo Bunny,
Verve-Holiday Phrases, Slice die cut, embossing tinsel, misc punches

ReplyDeleteNina, your card is so pretty with those gorgeous papers and beautiful holly leaves & berries! Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about decorating for Christmas so early. My neighbor put his yard decorations out this past weekend. I usually have my stuff up a few days before Thanksgiving that way Thanksgiving night we can flip the switch to the holiday season. My daughter has been bugging for the last week to start decorating and i'm trying to hold her off for atleast another week! We'll see how that goes! LOL
Have a great week, Nina!

I love the whimsical trees on the paper and your beautiful holly! I don't usually start decorating for Christmas until after Dec. 1 either. A couple of our neighbors have put theirs out though!
