Once in a
while I get requests from friends and co-workers for a custom card, in cases such as this one
where there is a photo I usually don’t post a
picture of the card out of respect for the person in the photo. My sister
worked magic for me yesterday to blur her face a little so I could blog
the card.
I used Picasa
to alter the image to sepia and added a
couple of effects to the image, I backed
it with brown and cream cardstock. I added some glittery brown twine and
created a button to hide the ends of the flags. I finished with some brads.
Supplies:
Cream and brown cardstock, Stampendous-Music Score, circle punches, twine and
pearls.
Cheers,
Nina

Hi Nina,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to wipe out anyone for you *snort* - these sort of cards are especially meaningful when they are personalized through either a photo or name. I love what you did with this.
