This card is for the current Seize the Birthday where the challenge is to create a Birthday card with colouring.
I used s simple layer, and then heat embossed the sentiments
and the flowers. I coloured the flowers with my watercolour pencils and added a
little clear glitter pen and finished with some gems. I took this smaller picture to show the glitter as it does not really show on the card picture.
Supplies: Cream and brown card stock, The stamps of Life –
daisies2garden and creations2fill, Derwent-Watercolour, gems.
Cheers,
Nina

Very pretty coloring. The touch of glitter adds to the festiveness of this card. I loved coloring as a kid along with cutting and pasting paper. No wonder I like this craft!!
ReplyDeleteWow Nina,
ReplyDeleteI ♥ it - especially how you embossed it. I will have to try that trick.
Isn't it TOO funny, we both did a bouquet of flowers. Wooo woo!

ReplyDeleteOh I love your flowers--just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNina, this is such a pretty flower, it actually reminded me of the flower on the dress of the girl I colored...stamping it for the background really makes a lovely statement and your coloring is wonderful and cheery! Thanks for linking up to Seize the Birthday and thank you for leaving sweet comments on my blog!
ReplyDeleteYour coloring is so pretty Nina! Love the sparkle you've added to the flowers, too!
