I matched my Tombows to the designer paper them added some color to a craft mat and spritzed water on it, I then used a paint brush to add it to my card. I stamped a image over top in brown once it was dry then added some gems.
For the cross panel I used an embossing folder to add some texture and also added some twine. I used a couple of die cuts for two different sized butterflies and added some Wink of Stella to the wings for some light sparkle. I used also used some gems for the body and finished with a simple sentiment.
Supplies: Cream and tan card stock, Designer Paper – My Mind's Eye, misc thank you, Stampin' Up! - Watercolor Trio, Inspired by Stamping and Memory Box die cuts, Wink of Stella, embossing folder, twine, gems.

Such perfect gems - I love how they mimic little buds on the branch. And those butterflies are so delicate!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Nina! Love the watercolor background and the gems look wonderful! Gorgeous die cut butterfly!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty with that delicate butterfly! I love the colors and patterns you chose too! NJ!
ReplyDeletePretty pretty pretty! I love the watercolor panel, I like seeing the strokes. The gems are very pretty but the butterfly is what got me. So delicate and so perfect for this card.
