The Challenge is to make a Christmas Card. I die cut the two separate pieces of DP then used ribbon to hide the seam. I two additional pieces of ribbon for the bow. I finished with some green gems to match the thin border.
I was watching a card video the other day and the crafter mentioned she has purged all her ribbon. I found that interesting because to be truthful, I rarely use my copious amounts of ribbon. Ribbon collecting was almost like an obsession, now I have tons, and it is just collecting dust.. and I have moved on to twine :), simple easy and Nina proof.
Do you still use ribbon?
Supplies: White and green card stock, Designer Paper - Echo Park, ribbon, gems, SS Stitched die cuts.
Thanks for visiting,
Nina
Nina this lovely CAS creation is VERY pretty! And oh so elegant!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe ribbon adds such elegance to this beautiful card! I have a lot of ribbon too and I still do use it occasionally, but not as much as I used to. I'm hanging on to it though, it's sure to make a comeback one of these days ;)
ReplyDeleteSimply lovely, Nina! Thanks for joining us at The Challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteI LOve how you've used your ribbon to link those two DPs, Nina! I love ribbon, but could never tie a perfect bow! I think I might manage you bow! Thanks for that, and for playing along with us at The Challenge! Your win was well deserved!
