I made use of some of the co-ordinating sheets from a 6x6 paper pad for this one. I heat embossed the sentiment and added some buttons but the paper pretty much did all the work.
Supplies: White card stock, Designer Paper - Authentique, misc die cuts, Penny Black - Sprinkles and Smiles.
Stop over at Always Playing with Paper to take a look at what the design team has created for the challenge.

Love your design here, Nina, the nautical patterned paper combined with the fun sentiment and buttons makes for a fabulous masculine card!!
ReplyDeleteLove how you stamped the sentiment on that red plaid DP - a great touch!
ReplyDeleteGreat colour, pattern and scene combining, Nina ... such a cool, masculine card! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteNina, what a wonderful card! Love the patterns and the sentiment! The buttons add so much to your card, too! XX
ReplyDeleteI love this!! I don't see buttons used very often anymore in Blogland! I miss buttons : ) I used some too on my card.

Hi Nina,
ReplyDeleteI really like all of your "nautical" themed cards - I still have one you sent (I think for Miles) one time. I like your paper choice and I agree - I have been hankering to use buttons too!
Hugs, Sis
