Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #267
We have a new Merry Monday Christmas card challenge for you this morning. Colleen is our hostess and her challenge is to Create a Christmas card in green, blue, white/silver/vellum.
The first thing I did was look through my stash of papers for some blue and green patterns. I like the delicate little ornaments on the page I used.
I then created the large flag out of vellum and heat embossed the sentiment in silver. I found that with the pattern in behind the works did not show up very well so I put in a flag of white in behind. I used some eyelets for the ribbon.
I added some rustic silver edges to a layer of white cardstock then finished with some dots.

Simple Sweet Christmas Inspiration Hop
Good Morning and welcome. Lesley has put together fun and inspirational blog hop for last-minute simple yet sweet Christmas cards or tags.
My card is simple and relatively quick to reproduce.
Card Recipe - I formed a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch card from cardstock. I used Simon Says Stitched rectangles to create a layer of brown cardstock and the second layer of white cardstock. I used an embossing folder to add snowy texture to the white cardstock layer.
I then die cut the trees and added some white pigment ink and sprinkled with some snowy glitter. I heat embossed the sentiment and popped it up with foam tape.
I finished the card with a small red cardinal. The die cuts make this a quick and simple card that is easy to put together multiple cards at once.
Supplies: White and brown cardstock, Simon Says - Stitched rectangles, Penny Black – In the Winter, Impression Obsession – Cardinal, Hero Arts – Jolly Holiday Wishes, embossing folder and Stampendous – Crystal Snow.
If you just happened to stumble across my blog and this post be sure to head over to Lesley's blog and start at the beginning to hop along to a long list of wonderful inspiration created for the Simply Sweet Christmas Inspiration Hop.

Here's to you
A quick post this morning. I needed a card for a co-worker who is moving on to bigger better things.
I used stitched rectangles to create the layers using a matt of brown and black cardstock. I heat embossed the mug twice. I added perfect puff for the foam and glossy accents for a sheen to the mug. I used two mugs and put foam tape between the layers.
Cheers,
Nina

Rainbows and unicorns
Rainbows and unicorns are not typically something that I would be drawn to as a go-to for a card. I just happened to get some very bright papers that I decided to give a try.
I used simple layers of pink cardstock to add a frame for the card and used DP for the main panel.
I stamped the sentiment and popped it up with foam tape and finished with sequins.
Supplies: Pink cardstock, Designer Paper - Doddle Bug, sequins.
Have a great day,
Nina

Birthday Wishes
I hope everyone survived Halloween festivities, we had a good number of trick or treaters. There seemed to be a never ending amount of fireworks this year and it lasted for hrs and was great entertainment in between candy hunting visitors.
I used stitched die cuts to create three panels, I added a spotted gold layer at the base that shimmers through all the cracks. I added foam tape between the layers to give for a 3D effect. I also popped up the sentiment and finished with sequins.
Supplies: White and black cardstock, Designer Paper - My Mind's Eye, Sentiment - Verve, SSS- stitched Die cuts, sequins.
Have a great day,
Nina
