Hello crafty friends I am playing along with Sparkles Christmas Challenge today, the challenge is to use red and green on your card.
My card is a standard A2 sized card, I started with a piece designer paper and layered that with red cardstock. I cut a second layer of designer paper and layered that with red cardstock as well.
I layered the sentiment with red cardstock and foam tape then added a layer of white cardstock.
I found that the patterned paper was quite busy so I embellished with tiny snowflakes and clear tiny gems.
Supplies: White and red cardstock, Designer Paper - Simple Stories, Sentiment strip - Tim Holtz sticker Book, snowflakes and gems.
Did you know: Pine cones close their scales to protect the seeds from cold temperatures, wind and even animals that might try to eat them.
The little details:
Cardbase: A2 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 in
Large panel - red layer: 5 1/2 x 4.0 in, designer paper 5 3/8 x 4 7/8 in
Smaller panel - red layer: 4 5/8 x 3 3/8 in, designer paper 3 5/8 x 4 1/2 in
Happy crafting,
Nina
