Spooky greetings

Hello crafty friends, I created a spooky card for Washi Tape Wednesday.

I did not have a vision for this washi tape when I brought it, until now I have been using to label some items to stay clear of. As I was trying to think of a card this morning a version of this one filtered through my brain.

I started with a piece of black cardstock, I then layered the washi tape as if building a mummy, in this case looking into somewhere creepy.

Once I had the washi tape in place I used very small die cuts to make ovals and circles to create eyes. I used a very small hole punch to make the pupils, and tiny reflective eyes.

I layered the panel with foam tape to adhere it to the card base, I used a sentiment strip to finish the card.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Washi tape, sentiment strip - Word.

Did you know: Ancient Egyptians thought the brain was useless, so embalmers hooked it out through the left nostril using an iron rod and washed the skull out.

The little details:
Card: A2 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 in
Panel: 5 1/4 x 4.0 in

Happy crafting,
Nina
