I love you

Hello crafty friends, Happy Friday. For my card, I am playing along with this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches.

I started with a panel of designer paper and added a layer of black cardstock; I did the same with the center panel.

I used a sentiment panel from the paper pack, cut it down a little, and layered it with black cardstock and foam tape. I added a sentiment strip on top, adhered with some foam tape.

I fussy cut a small " I love you " sentiment from one of the coordinating pieces of cardstock, inked the edges, and added that with foam tape.

I die-cut multiple hearts from the same pattern as the base layer, inked the edges, and popped them up with foam tape. I finished the card with some gems (ignore the wet glue).

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Designer Paper - Echo Park, Hero Arts - Infinity hearts, gems.

Thanks

Hello Crafty friends, I have a quick note card for my post today.

I started with a piece of designer paper and cut it partially way to turn on a piece over to display the coordinating pattern. I added foam tape to the top piece and added it to a piece of brown cardstock then I added the second piece to the brown cardstock.

I added a strip of brown cardstock to provide some separation between the panels. I then added some ink blending to all the edges.

I used a sentiment strip, then added a fussy cut jar with some foam tape. I finished the card with some small black half pearls.

Supplies: White and brown cardstock, Designer Paper - Echo Park, Creative Expression sentiment strip, pearl.

Thank you

Hello, crafty friends; it is Washi tape Wednesday, and I have a super easy card to share.

I was not feeling overly crafty, so I cut a piece of cardstock and found some Washi tape that appealed to me. This was not too difficult, considering the ridiculous amount of washi tape I have.

I laid down a strip of washi, some overlapping until I was happy with the pattern. I used a second strip of the piece with " Thank you " on it and cut it for a stand-alone sentiment. I added black cardstock and foam tape to make it pop.

I added foam tape to the panel and mounted it on a card base. I finished the card with some gems.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Washi tape, gems.

Search for the simple

Hello, crafty friends. Are you ready for a blast from the past? Once upon a crafty minute or two ago, I loved sketch challenges, and one of my favourites was CAS(E) this Sketch!

So, for my post today, I am going to use a sketch from when that challenge was running. If you are interested, you can find the sketches HERE. Old posts can be found HERE for inspiration.

I started with a scrap scalloped rectangle and used the die cut to make it into a square. I used scrap or darker blue cardstock and added texture with an embossing folder.

I used a second piece of darker blue cardstock and die-cut daisies. The stems are from a scrap of green cardstock, and the centrepieces are gold. I used a sticker from a Spellbinder kit for the sentiment.

I finished the card with some dew drops and the small gold dots left over from the daisy center die cut. I could not get a picture that reflected the true colours, but it will do.

Supplies: White, blue, green cardstock, Designer Paper & die cuts Spellbinders, Lawn Fawn - Scalloped Rectangle Stackables, gems.

This layout is so easy to put together. I started with a piece of black cardstock. I cut two coordinating pieces of designer paper into four evenly spaced pieces and glued them onto the black cardstock.

I used a sentiment panel from the same paper pack and layered that with black cardstock and foam tape. I finished the card with a poinsettia embellishment and some Nuvo drops.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Designer Paper - Graphic 45, Little B - Holiday Poinsettia, Nuvo drops.
