Happy birthday

Hello, crafty friends, I have a birthday card to share today.

I started with a layer of patterned paper and then added a layer of black cardstock.

I die-cut the balloon from patterned paper, then added the die-cut sentiment on top, adhering the balloon with foam tape.

Celebrate

Hello craft friends, it is Washi tape Wednesday.

I went with a very simple design for my card, mostly because I am trying to pack for a weekend craft retreat, and my craft room looks like a disaster zone.

I love this vibrant washi; I keep coming back to it. It is a set, so it was easy to mix and match the pattern and lay down some tape lines.

I layered up a sentiment strip with cardstock and then foam tape. I finished the card with some gems.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Washi Tape, Creative Expressions - Sentiment Strips, gems.

Merry & Bright

Merry Monday, crafty friends; I have a fun and simple designer for my card.

I started with some patterned paper; I cut a strip off the side and flipped it over, and I added both pieces a layer of black cardstock.

I added black cardstock to the center strip and panel and adhered to the center panel with some foam tape.

I finished the card with some gems on the stars on the tree tops.

I am unsure why this green appears mottled in the image; it is a solid sage colour.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Designer Paper - Echo Park, gems.

Life is sweet

Hello, crafty friends - I have another card I put together from a Graphic 45 paper pad.

I started with a piece of patterned paper and added a layer of black cardstock. I layered the main sentiment panel with black cardstock and foam tape.

I cut a strip of one of the pages with Life is Sweet on repeat and layered it with black cardstock and foam tape.

One of the things I liked about the cards I have made with the Graphic 45 paper over the last few posts is that they can be used for anything. For some I may add some bling at a later day, but for now I am enjoying the paper.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Designer Paper - Graphic 45.
