Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #191

Its another crafty Monday and we have a new Merry Monday Christmas card challenge for you. Our hostess this week is Kristie and we are to Make a Christmas card using the chalkboard technique.

I have a number of paper pads that have chalkboard papers in it, in the end I did not use any of them and instead heat embossed the sentiment in white on black card stock. I layered a couple of panels with black cardstock and DP, I popped up the sentiment with foam tape then finished with sequins and some twine.

Supplies: White and Black cardstock, Designer Paper -Echo Park, Clearly Besotted - Most Wonderful, sequins, twine.

Head over to the Merry Monday Christmas card blog and see what inspiration the Design Team has created and we would love for your to play along.

Thanks for visiting.

  4. Hey Nina,

So much to like about your card. The varying patterned paper in the traditional reds and greens keep they eye moving around your canvas, then the black chalkboard sentiment both draws attention to the focal point but also lends an elegance!
