Thankful

I picked up this wide Washi from Altenew; I struggled at first on how I was going to use it. I create a full panel that sat on my desk for a good couple of months before I could finish a card.

I used a die cut a gum leaf from light gray cardstock, then I die cut the sentiment and shadow section; I added a layer of foam tape to pop it up. I used gems to finish.

I added a layer of dark grey cardstock to the panel and a layer of foam tape as well. I finished with some clear gems.

The card is simple style but I like how it turned out.

Supplies: White and gray cardstock, Washi - Altenew, Paper Rose - Gum Leaves, Memory Box - Thankful Jotted Script.

Welcome

This paper is adorable; when the paper is so darn cute, the card almost makes itself don't you think?

I started with a panel of light brown cardstock, then cut rectangle panels of patterned paper, leaving a small seam between panels.

The sentiment panel is from the paper pack, so I added a layer of brown cardstock and foam tape. I die-cut a little onesie, added some foam tape to adhere it, and then finished with some gems.

Supplies: White and brown cardstock, Designer Paper - Moda Scrap, Onesie - Diecut, gems.

Merry Christmas

Merry Monday time - A simple but fun design that did not take long to put together.

I used a couple of pages from a Simple Stories paper pack, both panels have a postage stamp panel die-cut layer from black cardstock and popped up with foam tape. I finished the card with some gems.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Designer Paper - Simple Stories, Simon Says Stamp - Postage Stamp edge die, gems.

Thank you

Do I need more Washi Tape? Of course not,  yet what did I buy when I took a wander through Hobby Lobby on a recent vacation.. more Washi.

That washi tape was also the first thing I reached for when I spent some actual time in my craft room this week, believe me when I say it has been way to long since I played with paper.

I used a simple technique of putting tape strips on a panel. I started with a panel, the tape pack has 5 rolls so I just made my way through the rolls then near the middle of the panel Iadded random strips. The panel has a layer of black cardstock for a thin border and some foam tape to pop it up.

I diecut a flower stem, adding it to the panel with some glue and foam tape. I had some cute little bees in my stash, and I added a sentiment which also has a layer of black cardstock and popped up with foam tape. I finished my card with some clear gems.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Washi Tape - The Paper Studio, Itty Bitty Branches - Altenew, Simon Says Stamp - Sentiment Strips, Bumble Bee Trinkets - Stampin' Up!, gems.
