I am back for a second post today to play along with Crystal's ABCs of cardmaking challenge. The theme for Day 2 is Banner; see Crystal's post(HERE). There is no AI for tonight's post, our whimsical narrator will return for tomorrow's post.
I struggled a little to incorporate mixed media with this card.
I started with a panel of kraft cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot to add some texture. I layered that on a piece of brown cardstock. I then added some ink blending to the edges.
I die-cut a flag, added some ink blending and added it to the panel. I die-cut a privet branch and glued that on. I added some gold watercolour splatters.
I used sentiment ephemera that is popped up with foam tape, and I tucked some gold twine underneath. I finished with a few candy dots.
Supplies: White, kraft and brown cardstock; Designer Paper - Paper Craft; Papers Smooches - Flag tags; Simon Says Stamp - Privet Branch and Stitched rectangles, AALL & Create - Ephemera; candy dots.
Did you know: An average person will spend one and a half years of their lifetime in the bathroom.
Happy Crafting,
Nina
