Thanks

Once upon a time, in a world of vibrant colours and boundless creativity, a blank canvas of white card stock eagerly awaited transformation. A gentle touch of Tim Holtz's autumnal distress ink danced across its surface, infusing it with the essence of fall itself. As the panel dried, the colours harmonized, and the masterpiece was ready for its next step.

With the strength of a Big Shot and the finesse of a Simon Says Stamp 3D embossing folder, a new dimension arose from the card stock. It was as if the very spirit of autumn had come to life on the paper. Delicately, a fingertip dipped into a pool of rich brown ink, adding depth and contrast to the raised areas, making them truly stand out.

This magical creation was then united with a layer of earthy brown cardstock, meticulously die-cut using a postage stamp frame die. The enchanting scene was now complete.

Key ingredients: White and brown cardstock, a pinch of Simon Says Stamp - Embossing folder & postage stamp die cut, a touch of Spellbinders – Script Sentiments, and a splash of Tim Holtz – Distress spray.

A little-known secret: The art of embossing books for the blind dates back to the end of the eighteenth century. The process of embossing letters from the standard Roman alphabet on paper was invented in 1784 in Paris by Valentin HaĆ¼y, opening up a world of literary magic for countless readers.

Happy crafting,
Nina
