Post number two for today: I, of course, need to play along with the ABCs of Cardmaking with Crystal; you can find her post (HERE).
I could not walk away totally from mixed media for my card.
I started with a piece of watercolour cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot in an embossing folder.
I inked the panel with some distressed inks and added a bit of pattern by spritzing the panel with water and lifting the ink. I then sprayed with a couple of Distress sprays. I layered the panel with some black cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment, inked the edges and layered the strip with black cardstock. I die-cut some flowers and leaves and added some inking to the edges.
I added some twine to the sentiment and leftover leaves. I finished with some Nuvo Drops.
Supplies: White and black cardstock, Altenew - Embossing folder, Simon Says Stamp - Poppy Perfection, twine, Nuvo drops.
Did you know: A US dime has 118 ridges around the edge.
Happy crafting,
Nina
