Season's Greetings

Hello crafty friends, I have a simple design for this Merry Monday.

With the cost of stamps were they are at, it just makes sense to send a basic card out to those that get them mailed. So this year I have chosen to use simple designs, and let the designer paper do all the work.

I started with a piece of patterned paper, with this card it created a nice panel, I layered that with black cardstock.

I used a sentiment strip and adhered it with foam tape. I finished the card with tiny gems.
Supplies: White and brown cardstock, Designer Paper, The Ton - sentiment Strips, gems

Hello crafty friends, I have a simple design for this Washi Tape Wednesday.
 
I am using a layering washi from AALL & Create for my card today.
 
I started with a piece of cardstock and layered the washi to form the image, I added a leave branch, then popped the panel up with foam tape.

I used a sentiment strip and adhered it with foam tape. I finished the card with gems.
 
Supplies: White and black cardstock, Washi Tape - AALL &Create, The Ton - sentiment strips, gems.
 
Did you know: Butterflies can taste with their feet and use their wings' color-changing scales to see ultraviolet light.

Hello crafty friends, I have a simple design to share for Merry Monday.

I started with a piece of designer paper and layered that with black cardstock. I added some kraft coloured twine.

I layered a coordinating sentiment panel with black cardstock and foam tape and then finished the card with some gems.

Hello crafty friends, I have a quick card for Washi Tape Wednesday.

I started with a panel of white cardstock, I layered some washi tape diagonally. The washi tape is like a paper washi, not as thin and not a pliable as some of my others,

I layered the panel with foam tape to adhere it. I added a sentiment strip and adhered that with foam tape. I finished the card with gems.

Supplies: White cardstock, Washi tape, The Ton - sentiment strip, gems.

Did you know: Green is not a primary colour. It is made by mixing yellow and blue. The colour green signifies nature, life, youth, safety and hope. Green is second only to blue as a favourite colour.

Warm Winter Wishes

Hello crafty friends, I cute little fox to share today for Merry Monday.

I started by layering some green plaid strips of patterned paper on black cardstock, leaving lines between the strips to add additional pattern.

I layered a Penny Black - Masterpiece made simple with some black cardstock and foam tape.

I added a sentiment strip, adhered with foam tape, then finished the card with some micro gems.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Designer Paper-Simple Stories, Penny Black-Masterpieces, The Ton-Sentiment strip, gems.

Did you know: Giraffe tongues can reach lengths of 20 inches and are dark-colored to prevent sunburn.

Believe in yourself

Hello craft fiends, I have a simple square card to share today. This card was created for a card challenge but life got in the and I ran out of time to post.

I started with a panel of white cardstock, I added a layer of patterned paper. I cut a piece of coordinating paper and cut it into a flag.

The sentiment is from the same paper pad, I finished the card with some gems.

Supplies: White cardstock, Designer Paper - Teresa Collins, gems.

Did you know: The poppy has been a symbol of Remembrance for over 100 years.
