Just for you

It is Washi tape Wednesday;  this card was pretty quick to put together.

I started by laying down some washi tape on a panel of cardstock. I added leaves and butterfly ephemera.

I finished the card with a premade sentiment and some gems.

Season's Greetings

Merry Monday and Merry Christmas. My card for today's post had many elements; I made about 20 with slightly different sentiments.

I started with a panel of white cardstock; I used a blend of Distress Mica stains and Dylusions Ink Sprays to create the background; once the panel was dry, I used an embossing folder to add texture.

I die-cut bottle brushes in two sizes: blue, grey and white. I also used Word to create the sentiments and popped up with foam tape. Before adhering it to the card base, I layered the panel onto a layer of silver and then black cardstock.

Supplies: White, gray, blue, black and silver cardstock, Simon Says Stamp - Bottle Brush dies, Distress Mica Stray, Dylusions Ink Sprays.

Merry Christmas

It's Washi Tape Wednesday, crafty friends! I enjoyed playing in my craft room last evening.

I had some holiday tapes sitting on my craft desk and found a piece of dark green cardstock in my scraps that looked like the makings of a good card.

I ran the cardstock through my Big Shot with a postage die; I used a white panel of cardstock and added strips of washi tape. I ran that panel through the Big Shot with one of the dotted die-cut from the same set and adhered it using foam tape.

The card needed something extra, so I die-cut the trees and added a sentiment strip that popped up with foam tape.

Supplies: White and green cardstock, washi tape, Spellbinders - Postage Edge Rectangles, Simon Says Stamp - Winter Trees & sentiment strip.

Good Thoughts

Hello, crafty friends - I am playing with the stamp from the second day of the Spellbinders Advent calendar for my card.

I cut two pieces of designer paper and then layered them, one slightly smaller than the other.

I stamped the image and then the sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock. I added ink to the image with Q-tips, tapping the colour lightly; I wanted to try to add colour to coordinate with the designer paper.

I layered the image with another piece of designer paper to match the bottom panel. I added some twine to the bottom panel and then adhered the image panel with foam tape.

Supplies: White cardstock, Designer Paper - Honey Bee, Spellbinders stamp, twine.

Merry Christmas

Hello crafty friends - I am playing with a die-cut from my Spellbinders Advent calendar for my card.

It took me a minute to figure out all the little parts of this. I started with a napkin and made a panel; as I set that off to the side to dry, I created the little car and its parcel and added some foam tape to the back.

I stamped and die-cut the sentiment, twice actually, the first try was on white cardstock, but I found it too stark; I had already added it to my napkin panel, so I just glued the gray cardstock on top.

I stamped and die-cut the Christmas lights, and I added a little sparkle with some glitter gel pens. I adhered the car, added a layer of black cardstock to the panel and popped it up with foam tape,  then I finished the card with a silver gem on the i, the door handle and lastly, the bow.

Supplies: White and black cardstock, Napkin, Spellbinders - For you Car, Studio Katia  - Christmas Lights, Simon Says Stamp - Christmas Blessings, gems.
