Happy Saturday :)
I had a friend ask me to make her a card for a gift certificate for her mom. I though a certificate type holder card would work well. This was the result, I am kind of fond of it. I made good use of a glitter pen I found in one of the local Stamp stores, it did a nice job of putting a fine line around all my edges.

Cardstock: Natural, burgundy and sage from Nature Preserve Recycled cardstock, Designer Paper-Memory Box Frost
Stamp: Ribber Stampede Cardinal, All Night Media Snowflake Cluster, Artful Stamper (unknown stamp name) Holly Ribbon?
Accessories: Die Cut Buttons (unknown Brand), Hemp Twine Stampin'Up, Deco Just Glitter pen

I want to thank everyone who has stopped by and left comments, it is always nice to get feedback. Enjoy the rest of your day :)

  1. I love all the layering or matting that you did. It defines the paper and the image really well, giving your card a finished look. What does your sentiment say?

  2. LOVELY colours, Nina!

Cardinals are so beautiful, I did a small painting of one last year, just a small one and it turned out beautifully, your card reminded me.

I can't wait to try stamping and sparkling and all that!

Thank you for sharing, and what a long recipe you have to make up, sort of like a quilt! LOL!
