Sister Hugs

Good Morning and Happy Saturday - It is Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada. This is one of my favorite long weekends of the year, fall is upon us and the weather is crisp and clean and the leaves are turning. Halloween is just around the corner, I love all the pumpkins and ornamental squash and corn. Then there is the over eating of the turkey.. it is all good :)

I am extra lucky today because I am spending the day with my Sister, I am probably on the ferry as this is posted (Love that timed post option) for a day trip. We are going to hit a few craft stores as we sister visit before I hop on the ferry home.

I actually made this card for a Card Patterns Challenge but I missed the deadline. This is the sketch.

When I was at the craft exchange/sale a few weeks ago a lady was selling this stamp for super cheap.. I could not resist. I kept the card clean and simple.

Supplies: Cream and navy cardstock, Designer Paper-Memory Box, Paper Inspirations-Sister Calligraphy, misc punches, A-Muse-Pearls, misc ribbon.

  1. you sisters have the best time ever...shop till you girls drop. That is so awesome hug one another for me. Have the best ever Thanksgiving weekend.
Happy Thanksgiving from this family to yours and all our love .

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  4. Good morning Nina:)
LOVE your card!! Your stamp is soo COOL too!:) Sounds like you and your sister have had a GREAT time. Turkey with the trimmings ..AND ..craft store shopping too!! What more could you ask?:)

  5. You made a beautiful card, Nina. And that stamp was a great find. Clean and simple works great with this card. I hope that you had a lot of fun with your sister. I don't have a blood sister, but my BFF is like a sister. We live in opposite sides of the country. She lives in Ohio and I live in Florida. So when we get to see each other its always a lot of fun :-)
