Playing in Paradise #72

Happy Friday everyone, it is time for a new Playing in Paradise challenge. This week Allison is inspiring us to create using the sketch she has designed.

Isn't this Designer Paper beautiful, it is from a recent purchase from Scrapbooker's Paradise. I could not wait to create something with it.

I think I made this card way more compicated than I needed too. I used lots of layers, and used foam tape on the center element to pop it up. I finished with some pretty pearls.

Stop by the Playing in Paradise blog for the fabulous samples created by the design team.

Supplies: Natural Ivory and brown cardstock, Designer Paper- Canvas Crop, Fiskars- Cardmaking Happy Birthday, Spellbinders die cuts, misc punches, Sizzex die cuts, misc ribbon, Recollection pearls.

Cheers,
Nina

  6. This is fabulous. I love Monochromatic cards and you've pulled the vintage into it so wonderfully. Love the layers and ESPECIALLY how that centre box matches up perfectly with the underlying paper. The edging is beautiful too.

Your card is fabulous. It combines sort of vintage look with the nice swirls - very pleasing on the eye!
