Merry Monday #66

Another weekend has come and gone, it seem to zoom on by too.  It is time for a new Merry Monday Challenge. Lesley has great sketch for us.

I changed it up a little, I was making chevron style bottoms on the element before I realized what I was doing, I did not want to waste the paper so I left them as is.  When I had the card put together is looked almost vintage to me, so I chose to do the same with the sentiment.

Supplies: Natural white and brown cardstock, Designer paper-Authentique, Cornish Heritage Farms - Vintage Christmas, gems.

Stop by Lesley’s blog, Always Playing with Paper to see what the Design Team has created, join us and play along.

Cheers,
Nina

  1. I totally agree the older I get the faster the weeks go. You used some of my favorite papers on your card.

  3. Hi Neens,

Ha - how cool, I think I may attempt one like this! So simple and refreshing. I have a Father's Day card to pop in the mail today, this design would work great for that.

    Lurve ya,

  4. Beautiful papers and I love the fish tail ends on the banners! Isn't the time flying? I'm glad I have so many Christmas cards made already. It will be here in the blink of an eye!
