Retro Sketches #90 and Be Inspired #41

Ok, yup I'm back. I am having some creative time today and enjoying it. I am also trying a new challenge today. I love the DT samples over at Retro Sketches.

I created a CAS card and even used... gasp... vellum.

I could not resist using The Alley Way Stamps - Be Inspired #41 inspiration again as I love the colours and all those Polka Dots.

I added some coffee stains to the background paper then heat embossed some beans in brown. I added another strip of DP that has the colours in the above inspiration photo and then covered it with some Vellum. I inked up paper edges then heat embossed the mug and fussy cut it out and popped it up with foam tape.

Supplies: Cream and brown card stock, Vellum, Designer Paper - Fancy Pants , The Alley Way Stamps - Breakfast Club.

Cheers,
Nina

  1. I never remember to use vellum and it always looks so cool. I love how you used all these different patterns and the chevrons peeking through the vellum is such a great contrast to the stripes and polka dots!
