Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes

Goodness this week just melted away. My sister and I have had some fun adventures, had lots of crafty time, watched movies and consumed way too much junk food. I will be sad when I drop her off tomorrow.

We had one heck of a wind storm last night, there is power out all over the island. It is still quite blustery out right now but I hope it moves on before we have to get the ferry tomorrow.

Anyhooo, I played along with Seize the Birthday, which is an anything goes. As we were digging through all my supplies I came across this fun paper.

I used simple layers with foam tape in between, I also ran a piece of vellum through the crimper to give it some texture. I gave the sentiment a ombre look and then heat embossed it with some clear embossing powder.

I finished with some white twine and a double bow.

Supplies: White and blue cardstock, Designer Paper - Gasic Grey, vellum, Hot off the Press - Birthday Cheer, twine.

Thanks for stopping by,
Nina

  2. Psht Sis, there is no such thing as "too much" of crafting, sister time, junk food and general lazy-butting around. Its been blissful and I too will be a misty tomorrow when we go our seperate ways. I'm so grateful we get to be in each other's pockets when we craft though. I've had such a lovely time and creating with you has been a joy. We've definately had fun diving into the craft supplies. Your card is impressive, seeing how you pulled together something this lovely from mere scraps! Woot!
