Merry Monday #34

It is starting to feel alot like fall here in Victoria, we are still having beautiful sunny days but they are getting cooler and it makes me want to craft my little heart out.
I had a table at a local Stamp Exchange yesterday so I have been getting stuff ready to sell rather then crafting and I have missed it.
We have a new Merry Monday challenge today, the sketch is nice and simple this week.

I found all sorts of fantastic things when I went through my supplies for the sale,  so many stamps I have not even inked up yet. I coloured this image with a mix of my watercolour pencils and tombow markers.
I embossed the background and finished by adding some gold twine and pearls.

Supplies: Natural White and brown cardstock, Designer Paper - Echo Park, Sunshine Designs -Candles, Verve-Glad Tidings, Spellbinders die cuts, embossing folders, miosc twine and pearls.
Stop by Always Playing with Paper   to see what Lesley and the Design Team members have created.  We would love for you to play along with us for Merry Monday this week.

  1. Very soothing image and papers, Nina! Isn't it great to find stuff you forgot? Like Christmas all over again!

  2. I love your pretty, chunky, Christmas candles! Glad you found this stamp hiding away. A stamp exchange sounds intriguing.

  3. This image is gorgeous, I need to come to that stamp exchange! My craft room is in need of a clean sweep! Happy you are in the crafting mood...I find Fall does that for me too!

  4. I love the main image, as well as the embossing on the designer paper. Beautiful!

  5. Beautiful image! I love the background of typed paper that you embossed!

  6. Hi Sis,

Your card really "shines" ;) Hard to appreciate all the small touches which makes this card so unique.

  7. Beautiful colouring of this very nostalgic image Nina. I also love the embossed designer paper and the gold twine.

  8. Hey Nina, thanks for your comments on my card and your candles are sooo pretty. I love your card.
    Hugs, Bev

  9. Lovely card. I like how you embossed the designer paper.

  10. Such a creative card, with the layers of texture and peaceful colours.
    cheers, Karen

  11. Nina the card ...the candles look like they are glowing and your colors and paper are awesome ...hope to make a card or two soon ....have a great week.

  12. I love the texture you added by embossing that great dsp! The sentiment looks fabulous tied on with gold cording too! It's a beauty!

  13. That sale sounds like fun...let us know how it goes!
I always both dread & look forward to cleaning up my supplies for the same reason - I almost make as big a mess again by creating a "gotta use that!" pile :)
Love these candles (especially the glow!) and the gold cording for the sentiment is fab!

  14. This is gorgeous Nina - love the earthy warm colours of your card. I also love the texture of the newsprint DSP.
